These Terms of Service govern your use of the services provided through Riva Recipes and its Facebook Page management and messaging platform.

By using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The platform provides tools that may allow authorized users to:

  • Connect Facebook accounts and Pages.
  • View connected Page information.
  • Access supported Page content.
  • Manage authorized Page integrations.
  • Receive supported Messenger conversations.
  • Reply to Messenger conversations.
  • Use other Page-management functionality made available through the platform.

Features may change as the platform develops.

2. Authorization

You may only connect Facebook accounts, Pages, businesses, and other assets that you are authorized to access or manage.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate permissions for every asset you connect.

You must not attempt to access another person’s or organization’s Facebook assets without authorization.

3. Meta Platform Rules

Use of Facebook-related functionality must comply with applicable Meta terms, policies, developer requirements, and messaging rules.

You are responsible for the messages and content sent through your connected Pages.

The platform must not be used for:

  • Unsolicited or unauthorized messaging.
  • Spam.
  • Fraudulent or deceptive communications.
  • Harassment.
  • Circumventing Meta messaging restrictions.
  • Unauthorized collection of personal information.
  • Activities prohibited by applicable law or Meta policies.

The availability of a technical feature does not grant permission to use that feature in violation of Meta’s policies.

4. Messaging

Messenger functionality is intended for legitimate communication between Facebook Pages and their users.

Users are responsible for ensuring that messages sent through the platform are permitted by Meta’s applicable messaging policies.

The platform may restrict sending when necessary to enforce technical, security, policy, or messaging-window requirements.

5. Account Security

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and maintaining the security of your account.

You should promptly notify us if you believe your account or connected Facebook assets have been accessed without authorization.

6. Connected Services

The platform depends on third-party services, including Meta APIs.

Features may become temporarily or permanently unavailable because of:

  • API changes.
  • Permission changes.
  • Meta policy changes.
  • Token expiration or revocation.
  • Facebook Page access changes.
  • Service interruptions.
  • Infrastructure failures.

We cannot guarantee continuous availability of third-party services.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Attempt to compromise the security of the platform.
  • Interfere with other users or services.
  • Circumvent rate limits or security controls.
  • Use automated functionality for abusive or unauthorized activity.
  • Upload or distribute malicious content.
  • Use the platform to violate applicable law.
  • Misrepresent your authorization to manage a Facebook Page.

8. Suspension

Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to protect users, connected services, infrastructure, or compliance with applicable policies.

9. Intellectual Property

Users retain responsibility for content they own or manage.

Connecting a Facebook Page does not transfer ownership of Page content to Riva Recipes.

The platform software, interface, branding, and original platform materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

10. Disclaimer

The platform is provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that Meta or another third-party service will continuously provide particular APIs, permissions, features, or functionality.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Riva Recipes will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of the service, third-party platform changes, service interruptions, or unauthorized activity outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Changes

These Terms may be updated as the service develops or applicable requirements change.

Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
